Teaching Philosophy

Currently I am teaching College Reading courses and Basic Writing.  I hold a Master's degree in Reading from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a Master's in Writing from Eastern Michigan University.  I have 34 years of teaching experience and I've been at HFCC since 1985.

Teaching has always been my passion and I strive everyday to assist my students to gain the skills necessary for them to reach all of their academic goals. I look forward to seeing you in my class!
